The Loan Operations Specialist is part of a team within Loan Services unique to each Line of Business. . The Specialist is responsible for post-closing documentation review for new and renewed loans and daily maintenance changes for existing loans. The Specialist will ensure loans are eligible for pledging to the FRB or FHLB when applicable.



  • Documentation and system review of all new and renewed loans in accordance with department policies and procedures.  Ensure the key financial reporting fields are properly reflected in the core systems as compared to the legal documentation.
  • Validation of maintenance on existing loans in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of documents and totality of loan collateral files pledged  to the FRB/FHLB.  Monitor the assigned portfolio of pledged loans for renewals, work closely with closing staff to remediate files and update reports as needed.






  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • This individual must have a minimum of 3 years of loan documentation experience, exception processing and knowledge of FRB and FHLB pledging requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will be risk and control conscious and will utilize a degree of professionalism to communicate system, coding or closing discrepancies.
  •  Must be able to proactively trouble-shoot issues and follow through to a successful resolution.
  • IBS and/or ACBS Loan system experience is preferred.
