The Loan Closer II is a liaison between the Lines of Business, Outside Legal Counsel (or the Laser Pro Hub if internal documents are used), Client Banking Specialist and the Booking Teams. The Loan Closer II is charged with insuring that the loan documents match the approved Loan Presentation. The Loan Closer II must be familiar with a wide range of Commercial Lending transactions, including Syndications, Commercial Real Estate and Asset Based Lending scenarios. The Loan Closer II is responsible for receipt and review of the various documents identified on the Master Closing Checklist, in conjunction with the Bank’s Loan Closing Policy. This Loan Closer II position will support the Illinois Commercial Banking Group and is part of the centralized Loan Operations Closing Team. The Loan Closer II will report to the Loan Closing Manager.
The Loan Closer II must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytical and communication skills. The individual must be experienced with loan documentation, including attorney prepared, LaserPro and commercial real estate documentation, including syndicated credits. The individual must also possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and a working knowledge of IBS (Metavante) and ACBS loan systems. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Loan Closing role (or similar) in a Bank or Financial Institution.
