Responsibilities

The Program Manager’s primary purpose is to lead and oversee all of Services’ (Technology and Operations) responsibilities and involvement in integration efforts between CIBC US and CIBC Canada; including business use cases, systems integration and other projects under the program umbrella.

 

The Program Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following activities:

 

  • Manage overall integration program for the Services Organization which includes business use cases, systems integration and other projects
  • Manage executive status updates and stakeholder communications including risks, issues and pending decisions on the integration projects impacting Services
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues across all integration projects
  • Identify and report on cross project impacts and dependencies

 

  • Identify and escalate resource needs across the integration program including coordinating with CIBC Canada and CIBC US PMO to ensure resource needs are filled
  • Oversee project managers and BAs assigned to integration projects for US bank
  • Coordinate the work effort between CIBC US PMO to CIBC-Canada SPO (Strategic Project Office) for integration projects
  • Ensure project requests are submitted and approved by the PMO and/or SPO for all new projects identified as a result of the integration program
  • Manage critical vendor relationships as it relates to the integration program including program manager responsibility, tracking project status, project budgets, etc.

 

  • Track Statements of Work (SOWs) within Services, related to Program work and provide draft SOWs to appropriate business areas for review and approval
  • Oversee expenses related to Services integration projects
  • International travel may be required

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • College Degree in a related area
  • Project and/or Program Management certifications
  • Minimum of 10 years program and project experience in support of financial services industry
  • Experience working across functional and business groups in support of major initiatives
  • Ability to break down barriers and build consensus among program/project team members
  • Successful track record of implementing programs/projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
