The Universal Banker position requires working flexibly in the role of a Banker and Teller.
The Teller duties involve but are not limited to:
Working with clients by taking care of their banking transactions, servicing their needs and referring other lines of business. Receives and pay out money, keeps records of negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions. Focus on customer service and proficiency.
Assisting clients with over-the-counter transactions:
Deposits/withdrawals, cash handling
Issuing negotiable instruments
Selling postage, license plate stickers
Relationship Banker duties involve but are not limited to:
Providing assistance to new and existing clients regarding their financial needs. Knowledgeable in the bank’s products and services to be able to provide efficient and courteous customer service. Open and maintain client accounts and relate account information to customers in a timely manner. Recognize selling and referral opportunities to assist in achieving the goals of the branch as set by management. Needs to be flexible with schedule and willing to travel to multiple locations in the Community Banking Group.
Opening all types of deposit accounts and explain financial products and services
Research and resolve customer inquiries
Process all transactions properly
Prepare and maintain account paperwork
Actively refer loans and investment services
Required to meet sales/referral goals
Previous Teller and/or Banker experience.
