    Review both traditional and complex credit approval documents (loan presentations and loan amendments) for the purpose of:

    Ensuring proposed loans structures are in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy; 

    Validating proposed loans have been properly approved;

    Develop analysis and reporting capabilities related to the Commercial Credit process.


    • Assist internal clients (lending personnel) in the submission of loan presentations to be reviewed.
    • Communicate specific corrective actions to internal clients when credit policy exceptions occur.
    • Provide support to other functions within the Credit Risk Management Department.
    • Solve a range of straightforward problems.
    • Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
    • Participate/lead in projects associated with the department.
    • Design and development of spreadsheet models to analyze root causes of coding misconceptions.
    • Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports, printouts, decision trees and performance indicators to locate and correct data errors.


    • Knowledgeable in credit approval process, credit structure and ability to comprehend the Bank’s credit policy
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong critical thinking abilities
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving ability
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required, including analytical skills and spreadsheet experience
    • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Have the ability to work independently and within a team
    • Minimum Required Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in a commercial credit, loan operations or commercial closing environment.
