In this role, you will join an infrastructure team that is responsible for the Corporate LAN / WAN, Network Security, Telecom Systems, Audio-Visual Systems, ATM’s, and Managed Print. The primary focus of this role will be Network Security and SIEM focused. (Security Information & Event Management)
You will have the opportunity to promote change with process and security practices. Challenging the managed service providers to reduce or eliminate risk and maintaining a strong security posture is expected. Assisting the network team on projects and day-to-day change and incident requests will be required. This role will require a large amount of documenting, report generation, and audit response creation. Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and / or ForeScout CounterACT is a plus!
The person in this role may have or plan on obtaining some of the following certifications: WCNA, Security+, CEH, ACE, PCNSE, FSCA or better, CCNA or better
