    Responsibilities

      • Role:  CIBC US seeks an Operations Analyst to join the Deposit Services team.  The position will ultimately become a part of an operational middle office that is being established and that will reside within Deposit Services.  The Operations Analyst will provide high quality operational, administrative, analytical, and service support for various lines of business to support the Bank’s clients.  A strong control mindset is required. This position is viewed as non-client facing.
    • Responsibilities:
      • Oversee and manage calculations for clients with split interest deposit account situations
      • Support BSA/AML operational and control responsibilities from an enterprise perspective.  This may include support of the new beneficial ownership compliance requirements
      • Support and enhance maintenance and validation activities related to opening and servicing deposit accounts
      • Oversee and govern Specialized Account situations (ie. blocked, escrow, bankruptcy etc)
      • Develop and update procedures related to account opening and servicing
      • Will engage with all lines of business and support units including Compliance, Treasury, and other areas within Services

      • Experience in standardization, centralization, automation and process improvement
      • Excellent verbal and written skills
      • Strong customer service mindset
      • Ability to effectively engage with senior level employees
      • Proactive and willing to drive change and new initiatives
      • Excellent MS office skills, specifically excel
      • College degree
