    Responsibilities

    The Operations Group Manager will provide leadership to the US Region's wire team and lead the bank in managing the ever-changing payments environment.  The position will report to the Head of Deposit Operations and work closely with senior leaders within the Technology and Operations group.  The individual will be responsible for the performance and results of this critical division.  The individual will be responsible for contributing to and executing on strategic and functional operational strategies and priorities.  Responsibilities also include focusing on risk and operating in a well-controlled environment where regulatory compliance, successful audits, successful compliance reviews and effective fraud prevention are considered the standards.  Responsibilities include focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, automation, and driving toward a more scale-able environment to support future growth, sophistication, and complexity.  The role includes effectively managing the constant change that occurs in the wire environment (ie. upgrades, system replacements, defect fixes etc).  The ability to effectively partner with and manage vendors is critical.  The individual will also be responsible for being a strong and effective collaborator.

    Qualifications

    • Strong management experience; at least 10 years at a large institution
    • Domestic and global payments experience; at least 10 years of payments experience
    • SWIFT experience
    • Risk and control focus and experience
    • Strong verbal and written communicator
    • Strong collaborator
    • Change management experience
    • Vendor management experience
    • Process optimization/lean six sigma experience
    • Strong analytical capabilities and skills
    • Undergraduate, college degree
