    Responsibilities

    Portfolio Analyst Job Purpose:  Support the investment team in a variety of research and portfolio management functions.

     

    Portfolio Analyst Job Duties:

    • Investment research, which may include macroeconomic trends as well as specific investment areas such as international markets and sectors (REITs, preferred securities), etc. 
    • Portfolio management, including rebalancing portfolios, trading, and generating performance reports and other materials for client meetings
    • Assisting with investment due diligence on managers on our platform and prospective managers
    • Generating reports for management regarding portfolio risk and other compliance matters relating to investments

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Enrollment in either MBA or CFA program a plus 
    • 1-3 years of investment experience, especially in Private Wealth Management beneficial
    • Fundamental understanding of investments including: equities, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, structured notes, and capital markets
    • Sense of curiosity about the global economy, markets, investments and desire to research these areas 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg a plus
