The Operations Analyst II is responsible for the review and validation of documentation pertaining to commercial and consumer deposit accounts. Incumbent must have prior experience reviewing documents to comply with Legal and Customer Due Dilligence (CDD) requirements, including CIP and BSA/AML rules. Individual will make updates to the deposit exceptions tracking system and contributesto the monthly reporting of production stats and issue tracking. Assists in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training materials to maximize efficiency and customer service.
Daily validation and tracking of deposit account documentation exceptions according to procedure including AML and Legal documentation and key data fields. Monitor outstanding exceptions, work as a liaison with internal departments and front office staff to close aged exceptions. Answer phone calls, emails and voice messages from internal customers (bankers and client banking specialists) regarding deposit account exceptions or reporting timely. Use the Deposit Exceptions Tracking tool and other electronic resources to support the lines of business. Prepare existing paper account files for scanning to document repository and maintain file cabinets in office. Maintain signature database (SQN) and work closely with internal Technology department to troubleshoot issues.
