Provide analytical financial support to assigned Line of Business (s) and Support Groups. Position involves interacting closely with employees of assigned groups and managing their financial planning, reporting and analytical needs. The incumbent will extract, analyze and report on data at the Primary Line of Business level, Profit Center level and Client level. Analysis will provide valuable decision support information to the Bank’s Executive Management team and provide a pivotal role in ensuring assigned Line of Business achieves their financial goals. The successful applicant will work closely with Line of Business Executive and their staff to provide performance measurement and solid financial guidance. The ability to interact and manage successful and effective relationships at all levels throughout the organization is a critical component of this position.
Essential Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for providing financial analysis and managing the budgeting/forecasting process for assigned areas as well as all miscellaneous reporting related to Wealth Management, client penetration, cross-sell and detailed financial performance. This position is part of a larger coordinated team where ability to meet deadlines is essential. Familiarity with management reporting concepts such as Funds Transfer Reporting, Client Level Profitability and variance analysis is a necessity as is numeracy and core analytical skills. The candidate we seek will have managerial responsibilities, be involved in strategy, make formal presentations, and be a strong partner to the supported lines of business. Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and prior financial forecasting experience is preferred.
