    Responsibilities

    Assist the Head of US Operational Risk to manage the Bank's Model Risk Management (MRM) program to identify, measure and mitigate model risk across the Bank's business lines and support teams.

     

    The position will manage model risk in collaboration with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defense partners.  Responsibilities include managing the Bank's MRM framework and standards, model inventory and risk ratings, model valiation plans and remediation of model findings.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience; 10+ years industry-related experience; strong understanding of the US Banking Industry (issues, trends, competitors)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to create concise model documentation and memos; a writing sample may be requested
    • Excellent relationship building skills to establish key relationships within lines of busines and other business partners, including governance and oversight functions
