    • The IT Business Partner has overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional areas for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management

    • Serve as a “trusted advisor” and is the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers

    • Operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities and provides support in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business

    • Focus on strategic initiatives and planning activities for their business area

    • Understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues

    • Be proactive and anticipatory in business needs in an effort to provide significant value to business units

    • Facilitate the investment process and the high level planning and execution of business initiatives through the use of technology

    • Operate as the lead in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology


    • 10-15 years’ of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience and 5 years developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience   

    • 3+ years’ of experience managing teams responsible in strategic planning, business development or client management and working with a broad range of diverse and complicated business units.

    • Strong business acumen and proven problem solving ability to address business problems with technology solutions

    • Ability to drive change that fosters growth and increase collaboration across teams

    • Strategic thinking and planning

    • Operational execution excellence

    • Business intelligence and analytics experience

    • Digital transformation experience

    • Experience managing project portfolios and customer relationships

    • Lean Six Sigma preferred
