    Responsibilities

    The AML Periodic Review Officer is responsible for conducting ongoing periodic reviews of high risk clients as determined through client onboarding or event driven review. Primary responsibilities include:

    • Complete periodic reviews and re-assessment of customer risk ratings.
    • Review account activity, statements, internet research, and client profile information in order to assess reasonableness of activity based on expected activity as well as the client's industry, geography, size, complexity, and management structure; escalate unusual activity for appropriate reporting.
    • Identify and report on emerging risks with respect to the Bank’s customer base.
    • Communicate with front office to understand reasoning and purpose of relationships, transactions, and client behavior.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years in banking, internal audit or risk management.
    • Experience serving in an investigative capacity preferred.
    • Undergraduate college degree, preferred.
    • Knowledge of banking products and services.
    • Knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations.
    • Ability to make independent decisions upon review of facts and circumstances.
    • Strong oral and written skills.
